This river activity called MUKORO SAFARI is similar to the mordern white water rafting but it is done on traditional wooden canoes called MUKORO in our local
language. It is a participatory paddling river activty and requires team work - but don't worry, the guides will be paddling for you ;)
Volunteers will be slicing through the Zambezi tides
and waves and have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the land scape on the Zambezi River. You will also be able to see wild animals like hippos and elephants (and maybe some crocodiles)
while enjoying the beautiful sunset over the river.
WHEN AND WHERE DOES THIS ACTIVITY TAKE PLACE?
Mukoro River Safari takes place everyday of the week from 3 pm to 5:30 pm starting
from a point called Stidi Point and ending at Munyangwe Point, which is a distance of 3 kilometers.
You will be accompanied af course by our local knowledgeable river guide, who knows every tree, bird, reptile
and animal along the Zambezi.
