1.MUKORO RIVER SAFARI
Our location in the tourist capital of Zambia and our proximity to the Zambezi River gives the school many exciting prospects and destination to
showcase to the volunteers.
The school has introduced a river activity called MUKORO SAFARI which resembles the mordern white water rafting but it done on tradition wooden canoes called MUKORO in our traditional
language. It is a participatory paddling river activty and requires team work .
Volunteers will have momentous times slicing through the Zambezi tides and waves while giving them an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the land scape on the
Zambezi River. Volunteers also see wild animals as their trek for their final drink under the gaze of the beautuful setting sun.
Have you ever seen the beauty of the African Sun as it wades its ways behind the mountains? Have you seen the spectacular
colourful scenery of the Zambezi water as the rays of the sunset reflects on it on its final journey?
Every this typical african river experience on the Zambezi and capture realtime photos.
WHEN DOES THIS ACTIVITY TAKES PLACE?
Mukoro River Safari takes place everyday of the week from 3 pm- 530pm.
Voluunteers will paddle a distance of 3 kilometers under the guidance of our local knwledgeable river guide who knows every tree,
bird, reptile and animal along the Zambezi.
Mukoro River Safari starts from a point called Stidi Point and ends at Munyangwe Point, which is a distance of 3 kilometers.

2. FISHING SPORT SAFARI
This fishing tour takes place every weekend from 11 am to 5 pm. This fishing tour takes place on the Zambezi River where volunteers
will have opportunities to catch the
The volunteer can have choose to return the fish in water after the catch or have them as their dinner meal after the tour.
WHAT TAKES PLACE IN THIS ACTIVITY
Volunteers will have a full day of this sporting event on the Zambezi River . Lunch will ve provided at 14 hours and traditional food will be provided. Soft drinks and water will
also be availble.

3. GUIDED TOUR OF THE FALLS
Falls is one of the World Seven Natural Wonders and any visit to Livingstone without seeing this phenominon is deemed incomplete. As volunteers do there time with us, we give them moments to tour the falls from both the Zambian and the Zimbabwean side.
WHEN DOES THE TOUR TAKES PLACE
The guided tour of the Falls takes place between 6 am and 4 pm. Volunteers will have the time to walk through all the trails, from the dry cataract to the wet cataract which are the division
of the falls. Volunteers will be taken to the Boiling Pot which is the lowest point of the falls with a decline of about 115 meters. The point is named after the colliding waves that spirals the water like a boiling pot. After the Boiling pot they will walk
through the Rain Forest as experience the drizling water numb there skin. After the Rain forest they will be taken across the Knife Bridge to the Arm Chair gorge where they will have a nice view of the Main Falls, the Devils Pool and thenderous raws of water
as it goes down the Main Falls.
After the activty the volunteers will be taken back to the school.
